Little Green Monster Recipe from Squooshi

This has been a favorite recipe in our house for several years.  It started as a green smoothie that was tweaked and perfected to our taste and then named “The Little Green Monster” in honor of Reid, who is my own little green monster.

 

This blend is packed with vitamins, minerals, protein and healthy fat.  It blends up a beautiful bright green and is just delicious.  Sweet and creamy without a hint of spinach grit.   For extra protein, add some chia or hemp seeds.

 

Reid & I hope you love it as much as we do!

 

1/2 banana
1/4 avocado
1 handful chopped fresh spinach
1 scoop Greek yogurt
3/4 c fresh or frozen mango

 

Puree all ingredients together in a food processor or blender.  Pour into your favorite Squooshi. Enjoy now or freeze for later.

Made this recipe this afternoon. I added a little water so it would purée and it is a hit — my 18 month gobbled it down and my 7 year old enjoyed it too! It made 4 small pouches.
